PLUMBING CODES 27-76 REQUIRE ASSEMBLIES SHALL HAVE A DIAMETER AT LEAST EQUAL TO THE DIAMETER OF THE SERVICE CONNECTION LINE. IF A SMALLER ASSEMBLY IS INSTALLED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE METER YOU WILL BE ASKED TO REINSTALL TO THE APPROPRIATE SIZE.
